LOMA LINDA, Calif. — Openly Christian heartthrob and recording artist Justin Bieber has accepted an invitation to be the praise leader for Loma Linda Academy’s Week of Prayer later this school year.

Academy administration explained that due to what many have noted as a journey of re-invention and maturation for the young star, the time was right to invite him to lead worship for the school.

“Many of our students have been Beliebers since Justin’s “Baby” days so we are confident this will be our highest-profile Week of Prayer in years,” said Academy Chaplain, Nolo Creo. “The media often glosses over the fact that Justin has performed in Christian settings ever since he was a young child growing up in church. This Week of Prayer will be a return to Justin’s roots.”

Creo stressed that frequent Bieber sightings at various churches plainly demonstrate the fact that Bieber is a natural choice as a guest worship leader. “Justin is a churchgoer and he knows all the popular praise songs. He may not be used to performing for Adventists but he has promised to listen to feedback and coaching.”

Creo said that so far the only guidance he has given Bieber is to avoid excessive movement on stage and to wear a long-sleeve shirt to cover his ever-expanding collection of tattoos.

    LOL!

Put Justin Bieber on a street corner with a guitar and no production and no voice processing and nobody’d pay any attention to the poor guy.

If Loma Linda wants a Canadian guest who can actually sing, like an angel, get Celine, and tell her to bring Andrea Bocelli along for some duets!

This site is a disgrace. The owner is perpetrating lies in the name of “satire.” Satire is one thing; lies are another. This site is neither one. Shame on you. And you can stop hiding behind that silly screen-name “sevvy.” We know who you are; our private eye has identified you as Juanita Sanchez of Miami, Florida. Why not use your time, talent, and effort to write something true and worthwhile, like Alice in Wonderland? Nobody even reads this site anymore; and all the people who write comments are a big bunch of losers.

      1. Milly Brown-Rice

Yes, sure. Sevvy should spend his time writing something nice and true, like that horror/fantasy novel “The Stand,” or maybe some absurd Kafkaesque stories by Franz Kafka. By the way, you and I are among the big group of losers who write comments on this site, even though nobody reads this blog anymore! It’s so crowded, nobody goes there anymore. . . .

“Nobody goes there anymore because it’s too crowded.”

“I don’t know if the streakers were men, or women. They had bags over their heads.”

God changed many people to do His work name them paul he was Saul before. This week we are talking about him and the way he did spread the word of God. Who knows is there any thing difficult for our Creator the answer is No. We should not judge for us not to be judged. Let the boy do the work of the Lord through whoever invited him. God has many ways of reaching His people.

Forget Bieber. The king is Elvis Presley, and he is still alive! He is 80 years old now, and still rocking around the clock. He went into hiding in 1979, when he became a secret agent for the DEA. Currently he is a secret agent for Amazing Facts and is hiding on a UFO until the controversy on WO is resolved.

The SDA church has been studying the Women’s Ordination issue since 1881, and it’s still not resolved 134 years later, in 2015. If he’s waiting for the WO issue to be resolved, poor Elvis could be up there on that UFO till he’s 180 or 200. I hope he’s eating lots of veggies and taking vitamins.

Is this thing serious, cause that would be awesome if he dose come to LLA. I go to LLA and honestly I think it would be a good idea that Justin go there to lead the praise band, cause not everyone that goes to LLA is a Christian. I think that it may make a few of the non Christians re consider going to Christ seeing that Justin Bieber, a very well known artist, is a Christian. Idk it’s just a thought…

Yes, Jenny, it is just as real and serious as the fact that Elvis is still alive and hiding on a UFO. By the way, Elvis is a better Christian than Justin, so I think Elvis should be one invited to lead the praise & worship at LLA. Just sayin’.

This is amazing , Dan Jackson has invited Chap Clark to preach at a church service at Sunset Lake ,Washington Conference Youth Rally, March 6-8 2016. Chap claims in his latest book that all you need to bond 11-28 year olds is a good band and they will return week after week. He believes that 11-28 year olds are basically the same and will feel mentally the same. How about Justin and his band coming to this Rally or to your church. What a match! That ought to keep the youth coming to church at least until they turn 50 . Elder Dan Jackson told of his bakery prowess in a talk while he stood in front of a music stand. It is on line, watch it. He confessed that his secret ingredient in the mince meat pies was mouse guts. Don’t eat any free desserts given at the Sunset Lake Youth retreat unless you like that kind of pie. Another guest a non SDA speaker Brad Lomenick, ex sports fan, will tell you at the retreat ,if you are under 40 to shut up, sit down, and listen. He gets paid by being this tuff as a motivational speaker. The music better be really rocking if he wants us to listen. What a weekend planned, don’t miss it! Don’t worry about the SDA Church Manual stating that non SDAs’ should’t be at our pulpits for sermons. I’m sure Elder Dan Jackson will share his music stand instead of using a pulpit for all these “one church” speakers. That should make it okay since you see they won’t be using a pulpit. You may want to bring your own snacks and drinks though, you never know what is in your food these days. What ever you do, don’t empty your mind in meditation or you may come away hypnotized with a taste for mouse guts. Can you trust this bunch. Think about it. Have Fun rocking out. And that is good ole Danny boys’ favorite text for these times. Depends on how you interpret the rock.
