The General Conference promises your guardian angel will watch this film with you

SILVER SPRING, Md. — For the first time in Seventh-day Adventist history, General Conference leaders have promised church members that their guardian angels will watch a cinematic production.

Traditionally Adventists have been taught that angels do not enter through movie theater doors. However, the GC assured members that “Tell the World,” the denomination’s brand new film was up to “angelic viewing standards.”

“Your guardian angel will love Tell the World,” said GC Director of Creative Exceptions, Otra Cosa. “For starters, it’s a film that won’t show in theaters.”

Cosa added that as the film is the first major cinematic interpretation of the pioneering beginnings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, guardian angels might take personal offense if Adventists don’t at least check it out.

I was once told that angels watched over us who went to seethe Walt Disney nature films of yesteryear. What gives? Also, will the angels be watching over us if we go to see Gibson’s flick about Desmond Doss and the “colorful” language it contains? I’ll wait until we have the official SDA/GC sanctioned version on a DVD or at the 2020 GC session. In the meantime. I am faithfully crunching & munching down my Little Debbies. Woe iz me!
