SILVER SPRING, Md. — Gone are the days when you had to read books to discover Ellen White’s visions. This month the White Estate released all key visions of the Adventist co-founder as a virtual reality experience that members everywhere can step into simply by donning a VR headset.
“We realize that Millennials aren’t huge consumers of red books so we’re reinventing how Adventists experience Ellen,” said White Estate spokesperson, Batto Krik, adding that Adventist-owned, Australia-based Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company had sponsored the entire VR product.
Krik said the only trade-off for the sponsorship was “somewhat distracting Weet-Bix commercials that interrupt the visions every five minutes.”
