SILVER SPRING, Md. — Ted Wilson’s re-election campaign for the General Conference presidency confirmed today that be will not be launching his bid on Twitter.

“Governor DeSantis had more technical issues with his presidential campaign launch on Twitter than a GC ballot counting machine on a controversial vote,” said a statement from the campaign team.

The statement said Wilson preferred to launch his re-election campaign with a 28-point PowerPoint presentation at Annual Council, where he could “more directly impress upon delegates the importance of his presidency to keeping haystack recipes completely unchanged.”

The statement added that the average GC Session delegate is way too old to be on Twitter anyway.
