Music Pastor Job Hunting After Playing Baby Shark During Children’s Offering

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. — Bebo Greenley, who until recently was music pastor at Heavenly Waters Adventist Church in Berrien Springs, is on the hunt for fresh job leads after being fired last Sabbath.

Though he now admits to a lapse in musical judgment, the minister played the all-too-catchy YouTube kids’ hit song, Baby Shark, during the children’s offering on Sabbath morning.

The choice of offering soundtrack led to an unusually lively collection by the congregation’s children that pulled in the single largest offering haul the church had done on a single Sabbath.

The record intake was not enough of a peace offering to mollify a majority group of incensed church board members, however.

Greenley was pinkslipped before potluck.
