SILVER SPRING, Md. – General Conference leaders along with their regional counterparts around the world have released a joint statement expressing disappointment at how little of a fight they feel now-former President Donald Trump put up about being replaced.

“President Trump could simply have done what we did by postponing the General Conference Session yet another year and refusing to vote on leadership in the interim,” said the statement released earlier today.

“Trump basically rolled out the red carpet for his successor,” continued the statement, claiming he could have done more than contest the election, ask Pence to reject the electoral vote, rev up an unhinged mob and skip the inauguration.
