As Americans grieve the latest atrocities, the most segregated institution in the country has been making grand statements, condemning prejudice in all its forms.
The institution that sorts people by ethnicity at weekly gatherings has been calling for an end to the divisions in society. Its representatives have been walking arm-in-arm with people of other races in marches and protests although their weekly services often feature little more than token representation from people that look different.
Will society listen to carefully crafted statements?
Or will segregated worship and a sad history of discrimination speak louder than words?

This wasn’t satire today, and I loved it!! Excellent statement about the racial division within our church.
Sadly No satire in what you said
