BOCA CHICA, Texas — The world’s richest man has recently taken an interest in the Adventist Church.
Elon Musk became fascinated with the denomination after watching The Record Keeper, a canceled steampunk web TV series originally created by the denomination to tell the story of the Great Controversy between good and evil.
“I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why they canceled this show,” said Musk. The billionaire has made an offer to buy the entire General Conference in order to gain control of The Record Keeper “and give it a chance of commercial success.”
The GC has not yet responded to Musk’s bid but analysts say there is hope due to a serious precedence for major donors swaying the minds of administrators.
