SILVER SRING, Md. — In anticipation of a sparsely-attended General Conference Session this summer, church leadership has changed its I Will Go strategic plan slogan to something more feasible: I Will Zoom.
“We Adventists tend to be literalists so rather than force those attending GC session to fend with impossible travel restrictions and visa drama by enforcing the I Will Go slogan, we are buying up Zoom licenses instead,” explained GC Session logistics planner, Noel Wayfi.
An ambitious junior GC staffer added to Wayfi’s comments, saying that even though the slogan was being updated, he hoped some of the old timer executives took “I Will Go” literally and let in some fresh blood.
