Tear Falls, Mich. — Lately Stumble Block SDA Head Deaconess Liga List has been very concerned at a number of Biblical shortcomings.
In an email to her entire church board (copying conference officials), List pointed out countless cases in which Scripture did not provide the level of narrative detail Ellen White offers in her writings.
An exasperated List despaired in her lengthy message at how the biblical authors could have been so irresponsible as to neglect consulting White before penning their scrolls.
Vowing to wrestle with the problem until she had more light to share, List warned her readers always to cross-check truth with a red book.
