SILVER SPRING, Md. — The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists issued a rare locker room ban this morning.

Ben Carson, former neurosurgeon turned Donald Trump campaign supporter,  received the disciplinary action after defending a lewd 2005 tape of Donald Trump boasting of sexual conquest as mere “locker talk.”

On the recording, Trump bragged to TV personality Billy Bush of his attempt to aggressively seduce a married woman. He also boasted of his ability to use star power to sexually assault women.

Carson compared Trump’s words to bravado he claimed to have heard growing up and suggested that the real problem was that people today had not heard enough such comments.

The NAD has barred Carson from entering “locker rooms in any institution run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.”
