What with the marching, the saluting and the hoisting of flags, the service is bound to run a little long. But there must be something about seeing so many young faces sitting in unfamiliar places (the front pews) that gets speakers really excited. All those fresh, impressionable young minds, sitting there imprisoned---um, attentive---can't help but bring on a slew of pointed exhortations.
