SILVER SPRING, Md. --- The Seventh-day Adventist Church released a Potluck Finder app today, aimed at streamlining the church visitation experience.
The app allows baptized Seventh-day Adventist users to locate churches in their area that are serving specific kinds of cuisine, allowing potential visitors to filter for categories such as vegan, (just) vegetarian, Mexican, Italian, etc.
Pickier users who might find it hard to eat after an unenjoyable church experience can also filter for various kinds of services: conservative Adventist, liberal Adventist and Barely Adventist.
Although many Adventists have hailed the potluck finder app as an answer to prayer, critics have lambasted the tool for encouraging church hopping or worse: sleeping in when the potluck forecast doesn't look good at nearby churches.
Special thanks to a BarelyAdventist reader for the story idea!
