Chatty, Mich. — Longwind SDA has at least one thing to celebrate despite the COVID craziness that has defined the last several months.
The Guinness World Record organization notified the church that its most recent Nominating Committee meeting has landed the congregation the record for the longest meeting on the planet.
The Zoom meeting (which, at press time, is still ongoing) features impossibly opinionated committee members discussing and disputing the qualifications of a long list of church members for each position.
As nobody has agreed on anything despite periodic Pero drinking breaks, the meetings continues to drag on and some fear that nothing but Friday sunset will draw it to a close.
