A younger, globally minded generation is emerging. Communities in the global south are thriving and creating in ways that are reshaping mission and purpose across the denomination. Their energy isn’t just inspiring; it’s evidence of a movement far bigger than any single leader or committee.
The culture is changing, too. Where once doctrinal battles defined the conversation, now bridges are being built. Creativity, collaboration, and fresh thinking are spreading through podcasts, social media, local initiatives, and unexpected corners of the church. The old structures can’t contain this momentum—and they shouldn’t.
Through it all, Adventism’s core remains relevant: Sabbath, holistic living, social justice, and hope. Jesus is guiding this transformation, moving in ways human planning alone could never achieve. And while the new generation steps up, it’s clear the church isn’t just surviving—it’s being reimagined under His direction.
I’m confident in what is God is doing in the global Adventist family. Not because everything is perfect, but because Jesus is in control, and the energy, creativity, and courage now rising can’t be stopped. The best chapters are still ahead.
